Biography:

Hiruzen Sarutobi, also known as the Third Hokage, is a pivotal character in the anime series *Naruto Shippuden*. He first appears in episode 1, "Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!".

He was the Hokage of Konohagakure (the Hidden Leaf Village) for a significant period, renowned for his mastery of ninjutsu. He was a student of the First and Second Hokage and the teacher of the Legendary Sannin: Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru.

Hiruzen was known for his wisdom and dedication to the village. He ultimately sacrifices himself during the Konoha Crush arc to protect the village from Orochimaru's attack.
